Tamara Hoffman's triangle love story began when she was a Math teacher at Marcos de Niza High School who has a love relationship with her student, Sixto Balbuena. One day she's caught by Chandler police that found her parked at 1 a.m. in 2006 with Balbuena, now 20, who had her bra in his pocket. After that parking affair, she had been disciplined and eventually resigned from the school.
The journey of Tamara Hoffman's triangle love story continued when she went on to teach at El Dorado High School, a Chandler charter school for at-risk students, where she met Samuel Valdivia, an 18-year-old student.

If you love someone, you can do anything right?? Specially when you get jeaous. Police reports allege that Balbuena punched and kicked Valvadia, before stabbing him in the stomach with a kitchen knife. Balbuena called 911 after the slaying but finally Valvadia died later at the hospital, and now his family thinks that Hoffman was just using him to make Balbuena jealous. The last news I knew, Balbuena was arrested on a charge of second-degree murder.
